Privacy and safety
Public web subtitle tools process supported file and text operations in the browser. Future translation or dubbing features may require network processing when enabled, and the production release should explain that clearly before use.
FAQ
Does it work on all YouTube videos?
No tool can guarantee that. Subtitle translation depends on captions being available, supported languages, video restrictions, and the released extension version.
Does it require sign-in?
The public subtitle tools do not require sign-in. Planned member features may require an account after they are released.
Is subtitle data uploaded?
Current web tools handle local subtitle conversion and cleanup in the browser. Future translation or dubbing workflows may require API processing when enabled.
Which languages are supported?
Language availability will depend on the extension release, caption language, and connected translation or TTS provider.
What features are free or planned?
The free website tools are available today. On-page YouTube translation, advanced voice options, member features, cloud archives, and batch processing are planned until a production release says otherwise.
Can I use the web tools without installing the extension?
Yes. The subtitle converter, cleaner, timestamp, word counter, time shifter, TTS preview, and transcript helper pages are available as free browser tools.
